Welcome To Barrister Global Services Network Technician Certification Tool

Barrister greatly appreciates the hard work and dedication of our field technicians. We have provided this tool to benchmark all of our technicians’ skills across various technologies. As we continue to grow and open new avenues of service opportunities, this site will be the starting point for all technicians wishing to perform that service. You will see two types of certifications on this tool:

• Standard Industry Certifications – These certifications will closely reflect ones for general use across the industry. We will utilize these as a base requirement for any service on that particular technology across our customer base.
• Technology Specific Certifications – These certifications will be developed by our Training staff for custom products that we may be supporting. These will usually be preceded by a web based or in person training event, and will be unique technologies that we are supporting for specific customers.

We will also utilize this site as a place to post news, events, and updates from the Barrister team on various topics.

The most important item we have for our technicians is to remind them on the three steps we require to be paid timely for a service event. These steps are as follows:

1. The technician MUST call in to Barrister while onsite to close the call. The number to call is 985-365-0400. We are seeing more and more techs not following this process. We will penalize for not calling in by not paying the service order for failure to follow this defined process. So, please call Barrister from site to close the work order.

2. Upon completing service, login to TechWa and attach the completed & signed RFS within 7 Days – sooner the better. The tech has 7 days from the date service was completed to login to TechWa and attach the RFS or the work order will not be paid.

3. Return core part and provide Barrister the return tracking number. The tech has 10 days from the date service was completed for the part to be returned e.g. scans as in transit or shows returned or the work order will not be paid. To expedite payment, you can now go to Barrister’s web portal, TechWa, and enter this information yourself.

Always assume that the part will need to be returned. If you do not have a label, one can be created in TechWa. If you need assistance with finding out how to request a return label, please view our TechWa tutorial located at http://www.barrister.com/techwa/videos/. You can also access the updated TechWa training manual at http://www.barrister.com/termsandconditions/TechWA%20manual.pdf.

Again, thanks for your hard work and dedication in the field supporting our clients. You are appreciated.
